Bringing out the Best

This week in Year 4 we have had a fun time getting back to school.

In Year 4, Beech and Chestnut Classes, this week we have been doing lots of different things.

We have created our own class charter, where we looked at how we can be the best we can be to make Highlees the best place to be. Be kind, thoughtful and look after each other. We have made new friends as our classes from last year had been muddled up and we couldn't play with each other because of the bubbles. We are so happy to be back where we still follow sensible rules to keep away germs but we can see all our friends at play and lunch from other classes.

On Wednesday it was World Literacy Day. Did you know that 773 million people aged up to 18 are illiterate (which is where they can not read or write). We realised just how lucky we are.
