Performance Tables

In 2016, the government changed the way that children are assessed. New tests and interim frameworks for teacher assessment were introduced to reflect the revised curriculum. Each child now receives their test results as a scaled score (the score 100 will always represent the ‘national standard’ – the expected attainment) and teacher assessments, based on the standards in the framework. The School Performance website shows the following:*

• Reception children’s ‘Good Levels of Development’ data at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Year 1 Phonics Assessment data
• Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check data
• Key Stage 2 (Year 6) SAT data for Reading, Writing, Maths, Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar.

*Please note, there is no data beyond 2019. All external assessments of children in Reception, Y2 and Y6 were cancelled in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and no further results have been published by the government until recently, with the 2023 results.
